Equilibrium-Emotional Reflections A Chairs Journey

This collection highlights the symbolism of human connection through the use of minimalism, geometry, and the management of empty space to convey a deep emotional message. The simplicity of the elements is intended to evoke a profound sense of isolation and reflection. In this new work, titled "Equilibrium," I wanted to represent the constant search for balance in our lives. I used the metaphor of a balance scale with two chairs, placed on each side, to evoke the idea that all people, relationships, or situations have two sides that require adjustment to achieve harmony. The chairs symbolize the equal value between two parts in a relationship or situation. Both chairs on the scale convey the idea that each element deserves the same weight and consideration in order to reach balance. This piece invites reflection on the importance of valuing both sides of any situation, and how balance often becomes a constant pursuit in our lives.
